About me
Theodore Geisel was an idol of mine when I was a little boy. It has been said that beyond his seemingly natural ability to stretch the limits of the imagination, he was also a perfectionist and frequently discarded a great deal of his work until he was satisfied with an overall concept. I spent a good portion of my childhood tracing his imaginative characters and illustrations trying to figure out the method to his delightful madness.
Today, I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist as well. Designing in the corporate world definitely requires a great deal of patience and diligence, and I tend to sweat the details. Discovering innovative ways to inject creativity into business solutions can be challenging, but I love it, even when I have to stretch the limits of my abilities to figure it out.
I take pride in providing new and creative ideas for companies to sell products, deliver messages, educate employees, and engage their customers with meaningful and entertaining experiences.

I helped solve business problems for clients such as HP, Rockwell Collins, Wolverine World Wide, Waters, Meijer, and Kelloggs, by designing and developing unique and engaging learning experiences for the end user.
Embracing the director role at Media 1, I set the pace for the creation team on large projects that required a variety of design, animation, interaction and gamification, as well as monitored consistency throughout the development process.

Visual Designs specialized in 2d/3d animation, product design, and interactive media for sales and marketing videos and training applications.
I directed a small team of modelers and motion graphic specialists, providing animated solutions for clients including Amway, Park Davis, Hart and Cooley, Hendrickson, Herman Miller, Hilti, and Saurer.
As an animator I specialized in providing solutions to complicated and hard to show situations, such as inner working product parts and components, production assembly, product comparison, and process training.

International Master Products produces horticultural merchandising solutions for growers and retailers around the world.
I worked in the art department creating illustrations and designing marketing merchandise along side three other artists. Our director had us all compete against each other to pitch ideas to our clients, it was an extremely creative way to hone our skills quickly.

Girardin Sportswear was an apparel company that printed collegiate, music, and custom clothing designs for clients such as Walmart, Meijer, J.C. Penny, and Sears.
I worked in the art department creating custom designs and doing production layout.
